Sure, the web is abuzz with WebM news, and there are probably plenty of blogs out there gathering up various inflamatory headlines about it. But, should that stop me from posting one more? Probably.

- Apparently, HEVC is coming, and could be twice as good as H.264 (some quality in half the bandwidth) – and as an extension of H.264 and an ISO MPEG project, will NOT be free!
